When most people think about spaceflight, they imagine the Space Shuttle. For decades, it was NASA’s workhorse rocket. I wanted to represent the sheer power of the engines with a piece of Space Shuttle wall art. I had only ever done physical paintings up until this point, so this was one of my first digital paintings.
I had seen lots of other Space Shuttle art and Space Shuttle posters but I wanted to do something that looked simple and a bit retro at the same time. I was very pleased with the end result, and this painting proved to be one of the most popular on my website and with viewers of my Primal Space YouTube channel.
