Despite the harsh conditions, survivors endured and were ultimately rescued, demonstrating incredible resilience in one of the world’s most unforgiving environments.
In this painting, I wanted to capture the stark, haunting beauty of Antarctica, with the wreckage of George One resting amidst the endless white expanse.
